Traffic Blocking Problom And Study Of Road Traffic Management Countermeasur In Tianjin

In recent years the incessant rapid development of urbanization has accelerated thetraffic demand and amplified the contradiction between traffic supply and demand ofcities. Traffic blocking has become the focus problem and hot issue of mostmetropolitans both domestically and internationally. As the third big city of China andan important economic center of north China, Tianjin is also now facing this strikingproblem with its sustaining and fast development of city economy and society. This thesis mainly focuses on the forming process, related character, affectingelement of traffic blocking on the theoretical plane by thoroughly analyzing the currenttraffic status and reasons for the traffic blocking in the city of Tianjin. And also thetendency of traffic development in Tianjin is predicted by employing exponentialsmoothing method and comprehensive calculating method with a detailed comparisonand analysis of vehicle speed, capacity of roads net, the growth of roads and traffic flowover the years with lots of charts and basic statistics and information. By using theexperiences of foreign countries as reference and in view of the current nationalconditions in China and actual traffic situation, some countermeasures are proposedfrom the angle of traffic management.
