The Development Of Consumer Credit And Expand Consumer Demand

Currently, our economy keeps on the trend of surplus growth, on one side, the economic growth rate stays at a high level with possibility of further rise; on the other side, the surplus of products become more and more serious. Economic growth is a good thing, but surplus indicates risk and crisis. Recent economic growth is stable, but surplus products will cause funds and labor surplus and finally constrain economic growth, in order to resolve this production surplus, we should expand consumption demand where development of consumption credit plays an important role. So it is of great theoretic and practical significance to research consumption credit development and consumption demand expansion.This paper analyses the urgency of expanding consumption demand, expounds the role of consumption credit in consumption demand expansion, explores the situation and problem of consumption credit in China, and finally provides some measures to develop consumption credit and expand consumption demand.
