Since reform and opening-up in China, economic construction had made great achievements, the comprehensive national strength had further strengthen, and people's living standards had been improving. As the basic economic activity, Consumption had played an increasingly important role in social life. Meanwhile, because of instable consumption expectation, inadequate social security system, unreasonable distribution system, and the impact of traditional consumption concept and western consumerism and weaknesses and deficiencies in the operation process of market economy, the modern consumer field had many pessimistic issues. These issues not only seriously affected people's consumption activities and constrainted the society's all-round development, but also resulted in tremendous pressure on the environment, as a result, "Consumption harmony" urgently need to achieve.China Consumer Association regarded the "Consumption harmony" as the annual theme in 2007, it is just a response to this reality.From the point of view of economic life, "Consumption harmony" was discussed in this article. It included what is consumption harmony, the status and reasons of the consumption disharmony, and demonstrating the measures to achieve consumption harmony in detail.In the paper, consumption harmony was regarded that consumption activity was in the state of harmonious operation. Harmony, and it consisted of the harmony of consumption demand, the harmony of the consumption structure, the harmony of consumption concept, and the harmony of consumption environment.In order to maintain normal order of economy society, we must find the reason and raise measure for this status, and truly promote the development of economy society.
