Competitiveness Evaluation Of Tianjin's Bicycle Industry And Research On Development Strategy

Tianjin is the cradle of China'bicycle industry which has developed about one century. During the process of its development ,it has prosperity and also decline. Now it has a product of 30 millions and become number one during the last four years. Tianjin has become the biggest base for bicycle production in our country. But we must know that the competition during the five bicycle production bases will be more intensely. So it is necessary for us to evaluate the competitiveness of Tianjin's bicycle industry. Trough the competitiveness evaluation we can find the shortage between Tianjin and other places. Then all bicycle companies of Tianjin will actualize the effective strategy which will make a big progress.In this thesis,the classical theories and methods of the industry competitiveness by former researchers are summarized, based on which a Evaluation indicator system is formed.Qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, systems and comparative analysis, all of these are used to conduct a comprehensive evaluation to the industry competitiveness of Tianjin. On the basis of data analysis , Tianjin's bicycle industry competitiveness is evaluated for three aspects, such as throughput, market, and technology level. In the end, four strategies are given to improve Tianjin's bicycle industry competitiveness , such as intellectual property rights, Branding, Industrialcluster update, which are evaluated by QSPM.
