Process Control And Dynamic Evaluation Of ERP Implementation

With the fast development of information and the globalization of economics, information management becomes more and more important to the enterprises'development. ERP processes the advanced management ideas, and it's the key system of plan controlling and decision management. ERP can improve the management level and reduce the costs.ERP implementation needs a complicated standard procedure, and there are many risks in the process. In order to ensure the ERP project can be implemented successfully, it's necessary to take rational and effective control in the implementation procedure. ERP evaluation is an important measure to control the implementation process timely and appropriately.In China, many enterprises have implemented ERP projects, but most of the implementation has failed. This paper analyses the reasons for failure and the critical success factors. And then on the base of other evaluation methods, a dynamic evaluation system for ERP is presented. First, the concept of dynamic evaluation system is introduced, and analyses its importance in ERP implementation. And then presents the key fit index of dynamic evaluation. The organization fit, which includes the user fit, process fit and data fit, is the key variable influencing the success of ERP implementation. Finally introduces the procedure of setting up a model of dynamic evaluation for ERP program management, and designs evaluation software for an example to illustrate the dynamic evaluation method.
