The promising China's elevator market attracts numerous elevator manufacturers of worldwide fame to come here to make their investment. The competition among elevator enterprises is huge. How to reduce installation cost, improve installation quality and make installation site a safe place by project management means attract attention of all elevator enterprises.With personal accumulated practice and working experience of several years in Suzhou Schindler Elevator Company, the author fully emphasizes the importance and necessity on project management. The author describes the problems existed in project management practice of Suzhou Schindler Elevator Company and wants to find out the root cause.Further, the author studies two aspects of project management, i.e. project's organization management and planning & controlling and draws his conclusion in the end. Elevator enterprises are faced with the same difficulties. Therefore the author hope that the viewpoints and conclusion of this paper can be used for reference by other elevator enterprises.
