Wantong company is a private enterprise which engaged in real estate industry for several years. It becomes one of the largest real estate companies in Guangxi after more than ten years development. But Wantong company also developed too fast without explicit competitive strategy guides as other companies. Therefore, Wantong company is facing many strategy problems, such as how to break the bottleneck, how to redevelop. So, it has significant meanings to study and choose the competitive strategy for it's real estate business.This paper starting from the angle of real estate companies, combining strategy management theories, real estate theories, economics, using various analytical tools to carry on system analysis of Wantong company. This paper uses Michael Potter's theory of "five competing strength models", "SWOT" and "Internal Factor Evaluation matrix", analyzes the external and internal resources of the company and provides a dependable basis for competitive strategy establishment.After analyzing the macro environments, industry environment, opportunities and challenges, the paper points out the direction for the company based on the current situation of Wantong company. The company's real estate business competitive strategy is the differentiation strategy. Which means to put the main resources in real estate market. The company's real estate business competitive strategy is differentiation strategy. Which means to adopt vertical integration for primary business, reduce the management cost and reasonable integration exterior resources and internal resources of the company, make the products not only have good quality but also have the competitive price.Finally, the paper explains the execution and guarantee scheme of the company's competitive strategy, planning separately on institutional framework, operation, human resources, cost control, brand strategy and company culture etc.
