Study On The Evaluation And Comparision Of Urban Integrated Competitiveness Of Main Cities In The Northeast Region

Revitalizing the cities in northeast area is indispensable for rebuilding the old northeast industry area and it is sure to promote the development of the old northeast industry area. How to improve the urban Integrated competitive and how to exert the urban integrated competitiveness in the support of national policy are the problems to be well considered. To improve the competitiveness of each city in the region it not only needs to pay attention to the construction and development of the cities, but also needs to pay attention to the development of the region, achieve regional economic integration. To research the urban comprehensive competitiveness in northeast area in the background of rebuilding the old northeast industry area will promote the integrated and coordinate development of the northeast area. At the same time, it will let us have a clear understanding about the problems that each city faces as well as the whole area faces and speed up the steps of rebuilding the northeast area in order to increase the integrated competitiveness of the cities in northeast area.This paper has four chapters.Chapter I is an introduction. It put forwards the research background, theory and the practical significance. it introduces the status quo of Urban competitiveness study in China and abroad detailedly, At the same time, it briefly introduces the research content, method and methods of this paper.Chapter II introduces the theoretical system of urban competitiveness. It includes the definition, meaning, features and the relative influential factors; it introduces the classical models of urban competitiveness theories in detail,and then it introduces the general situation of major cities in northeast area.Chapter III is empirical research; it is the emphases of this paper. According to the design principles of the urban competitiveness index system, establishes a new urban comprehensive competitiveness estimation index system. On the basis of reviewing the existing theories and studies, using the qualitative and quantitative analysis the vertical and horizontal analysis methods, the paper calculated and evaluated the scores and rank of each city by the aid of software of SPSS using the factor analysis methods.Chapter IV: According to the data analysis and evaluation results of third chapter,the paper offers some practicable methods for the eight cities to enhance their comprehensive competitiveness and the urban Integrated competitiveness of the old industrial bases in northeast China...
