Research On Methodology For Procurement And Supply Coordination And System Implementation

With the globalization of international economy and rapid development of information technology, nowadays, the business competition between companies has changed into competition between supply chains. In such circumstance, market is gradually open to the world, and products are confronted with individuation. A company's daily operation is largely driven by orders. However, there is usually lack of mid-inventories between companies who maintain the relationship of procurement and supply. That's why it is so critical to carry effective coordination over the procedure of procurement and supply.In this paper, basing upon the supply chain circumstance, we do a research on the coordination of inter-company procurement and supply according to the new change in the procurement and supply pattern.Firstly, combining with the characteristics of the purchasing materials, we classified one company's suppliers and analyzed its different cooperative relationships with different supplier. Then we recommend a procurement and supply coordination framework, which includes a one-to-one multi-attribute coordination pattern and a one-to-many multi-attribute coordination pattern. Based on the above framework, we respectively boiled the coordination problem down to a one-to-one multi-attribute auto-negotiation problem and a one-to-many multi-attribute reverse auction problem. Afterwards, we conducted comprehensive analysis on the key factors of the procurement and supply process of these two problems, and then worked out their coordination models.Secondly, based on the research of coordination model for inter-company procurement and supply, we discuss the related algorithms for the inter-company procurement and supply process, including an intelligent algorithm for one-to-one multi-attribute automatic negotiation model and a multi-round bidding assessment algorithm for one-to-many multi-attribute reverse auction model. These algorithms penetrate in every single step of the coordination of inter-company procurement and supply process, and have proved to be very effective in solving the critical problems in the coordination model.Finally, based on the coordination model and related coordination algorithms for inter-company procurement and supply mentioned above, the system which provides support for the whole coordinating process were designed and implemented on the J2EE and JADE platform, and it well certificates the theories we brought out in this paper.
