Research On Credit Situation Of Peasant Brokers And Its Influencing Factors

In recent years, many peasant brokers emerged in the countryside to adapt to the development of market economy and industrialization of agriculture. They are a new thing in the development of country economy and a bridge of the farmers and the market. They play an important role in dredging channels of agricultural product, improving the adjustment of country industry structure and increasing new country construction. Meanwhile, as the voluntary brokers, many problems exist such as irregular quality, not high level systematism, industry separated, disordered circulation, behindhand management device, restricted managing environment, weakness to resist the risk. These problems lead to the relief crisis among the peasants, which affect the development of country economy bitterly. So, in the construction of new country, the chief task is to solve the credit problem of the peasant brokers and cultivate the high quality peasant brokers group.The thesis sets the development situation in Wancheng District, Nanyang City Henan Province as an example, and investigate and analyze education background of the peasant broker, age, main types, industry distribution, level of systematism, marketing device, government conduction, quantity and sum of product managed, basis quantity brought along and peasant number pooled, the broker's contracting number with peasants, enterprises, product wholesalers' transaction, deal number and non-deal number and the reason, ceasing contract number and the reason.Based on the investigation and literature, combined with the accurate situation in Wancheng District, the analysis of the influencing brokers' credit problem is made from the internal causes and external environment through the investigation of the brokers' credit situation. The result is the breaking faith activity is greatly connected with many factors, such as age, education degree, level of sysmatism, managing device and means, personality, regulation and law, dissymmetry information, the level emphasized by the government.On the basis of analysis, we adequately use the theoretical production of experts' research and practical experience in various places for reference. Then we propose the countermeasure and suggestions on how to solve the peasant brokers' credit problem. To deal with the problem, these factors should be taken in consideration: the credit administration system, building up a punishment system while losing credit, strengthening positive publication and training, inducting brokers to construct self-discipline organization, lay down favorable policy, build up self-discipline organization, perfect country information network and so on.
