It is well known that competitive advantages of regional firms are very important. However, it is not clear that how enterprise clustering impact the competition force of firms and in what respects. In this paper, using chaoyang district underwear industry as an example, we analyzed the above-mentioned issues and try to find the answers to them. We divided the competition force of firms into seven aspects: research and innovation capacity, cost, production flexibility, product quality, delivery capability, customer service capability and financial capability. Using these seven aspects as independent, and using the active clustering effect, the passive clustering effect and the aid of chambers of commerce of government as dependent, we performed a multi-variable linear regression. The results we have found are as follows: firstly, we did not find that all the clustering effects have impact on the competition force of firms, and the clustering effect have impact on all the competition force of firms, but we found that active clustering and the aid of chambers of commerce of government have helped improving the innovative capability of enterprises, but not passive clustering. Secondly, we found that both active clustering and passive clustering have significant positive impact on production flexibility, the aid of chambers of commerce of government have negative but not significant impact on production flexibility, and both active clustering and passive clustering can reduce firm cost significantly. However, the aid of Chamber of Commerce of government has no significant impact on firm cost. Thirdly, active clustering and the aid of Chamber of Commerce of government are significantly positively related to products quality, both active clustering and passive clustering are significantly positively related to delivery capability, and the aid of Chamber of Commerce of government has no significant impact on delivery capability. Finally, active clustering has significant impact on the improvement of costumer service capability, and all three aspects of clustering effects have no significant impact on firm's financial capability.
