Synthetic Evalution Of QingDao Service Port

In China, with the high development of economy and foreign trade, the sea ports have also been developed greatly. But because of history, society and so on, comparatively speaking, the development degree of the sea ports in China is in imbalance; meanwhile, the development of many ports is not reasonable because it is only for the improvement of hardware, but not for that of the software, which is another important element of ports' development. We can see that it is an important subject to set up synthtic evalution, in order to estimate the service of ports.In this thesis, firstly, the relevant concepts and theories of service ports are mentioned; then the service situation of the famous great ports in the world, such as the ports in Rotterdam, Singapore, Hong Kong and London, is introduce and analyze, and their successful experiences are concluded. Based on above analysis, the service situation of Qingdao port is analyzed; and with the theories of service ports and competition, the synthtic evalution is set up; with the combination of subjective and objective analysis, the comprehensive evaluation modal of service port is set up by grey connection analysis of entropy power, next, the development tendency of the port in the way of vague comprehensive evaluation. The result of the evaluation shows that, the service level of Qingdao port has been improved annually; the service ability of the whole unity is promoted continuously. But, because of many problems in the development of the port, the development of the service port is not satisfying enough. Finally, through the analysis in this thesis, the insufficient aspects of Qingdao Port have been found out, and the relevant correct measures have also been brought up, with the successful experiences of the global great ports. With the improvement of service in four aspects: logistics control plate, key big ports, information centre and management of ports, Qingdao port will be developed to a great service port, whose key function is to provide the comprehensive service for national economy and society development; which can also provide the overall, affective, and foreseeing service, have good interaction of the economy and society with nearby area.
