The Study On Paint Purchasing Management Of Shipping Company

With the globalization of economy,the liberalization of trade,world's shipping market has been flourishing;our country has also taken the opportunity and developed very well.In the fierce competition of shipping market,shipping companies ought to strengthen self-construction so as to further development.The boating company provides the ships transportation service as own product,in order to guarantee the quality of service,strengthening,the ship handling,preventing the ships rust and the paint service maintenance are extremely important.In the entire supply chain, the paint purchase maintains an important guarantee of the ships maintenances,the reasonable correct arrangement purchase,can enable the entire shipping supply chain to play the major role,provides more services for the sea transportation.This paper aims to analyze the problem of paint purchasing in shipping company and puts forward purchasing method.Firstly,,based on the purchasing theory,the thesis introduces basic conceptions, types of purchasing and its objectives;analyzes usual problems at common purchasing which includes information,fund,cost,quality and so on.Furthermore,the author narrates the conception of purchasing management in Supply Chain Environment and inferior and exterior reasons which influence purchasing.Secondly,the author also analyzes significance,objective and flow of paint purchasing,thus rebuilds the flow.Thirdly,this paper introduces methods of supplier management and risk management, Using AHP to evaluate and select suppliers and solving relevant problem of risk management.At last,taking SZ shipping company as an example,this paper points out some advices of paint purchasing management in shipping companies.
