Why there's a need, in the harmonious society, emphasizes harmonious development between manufacturing and distribution? What's the interactive relationship between these two industries? How to achieve a long-term harmonious development between manufacturing and distribution? This is what the paper intent to answer.After analyzing the present situation of manufacturing and distribution, the paper illuminate the necessity of harmonious development between manufacturing and distribution. Through the above analysis, this paper has pointed out three factors which influence harmonious development between manufacturing and distribution: Industrial structure's choice of manufacturing, development degree of distribution, interactive relationship between manufacturing and distribution.The theoretical studies show that the need to make some adjustments in the industrial structure of manufacturing for the harmonious development between manufacturing and distribution. Manufacturing needs to reposition, reform and optimize in the industrial value chain to the high value-added, high-tech content manufacturing. On different phases of industrialization, the distribution effect has shown structural changes. At present, the distribution realization effect should be strengthened, the value-added effect should be increased, and the optimization effect should be guided. Only like this can maximize distribution's functional superiority and urge harmonious development between manufacturing and distribution.The empirical study demonstrated that manufacturing and distribution have closer interactive relationship compares them with other industries. High-tech content, high value-added manufacturing is the future direction of development. Distribution starts to show the status of bottleneck.
