The wholesale and retail industry of Guangdong is the mainstay of commodity circulation, and it interrelates with many other industrial sectors directly or indirectly. The paper attempts to use the input-output method study on industrial relationship of wholesale and retail industry in Guangdong.The paper includes five chapters. Chapter 1 is the introduction. It will describe the research background, summarize research literature of wholesale and retail industry and industrial relationship, and illustrate the research scheme. Chapter 2 is the key of this paper. It will focus on the industrial relationships of the wholesale and retail industry and other subsection industries. Chapter 3 analyzes the industrial spread of the wholesale and retail industry to other industries through indexes of industrial influence, inductivity and reliance. And then it forecasts and analyzes on price spread effect in the wholesale and retail industry of Guangdong. Then concludes: the characteristic of Guangdong's wholesale and retail industry is extensive correlation and penetration powers, and it belongs to ultimate demand basic industry. Because of the feature of labor-intensive, the wholesale and retail industry can promote employment significantly. It is also found that flourishing market demand is essential for the development of wholesale and retail industry in Guangdong. Meanwhile, it is important to deepen understanding about the status of commodity circulation in the national economy, and promote modernization of wholesale and retail industry energetically.
