Research On Forming Mechanism And Regulation Reform Of Electricity Price In China

Electricity industry is the base of national economy. The reform of electricity price is the core content of the reform of electricity system, which is the key to the success of the regulational reform in entire electricity industry. Therefore, it is significant to research on forming mechanism and regulation-reform of electricity price in China.In this thesis, the author presents the theory of price regulation and analyses the forming mechanism of electricity price, pointing out the factors which influence electricity price. With the reference to process of the electricity price-regulation form in China, the author evaluates its performance. According to empirical test about the effect of regulation on the electricity price level, it is obvious that national income, coal price, innovation and regulation have tremendous impact on electricity price in China. On the basis of such analysis, the author constructs the our price-regulation model which is fit for the development of our electricity industry. Finally, the author gives some advice about how to deepen the reform of our electricity price-regulation.Maybe there are two innovations in this thesis. On the one hand, through the empirical test, the author gets conclusion that some factors can obviously influence the electricity price level. On the other hand, combining foreign experience and our practice, the author constructs a price-regulation model which is fit for the development of electricity industry. With the rapid development of market-oriented economy in China, it is imperative to deepen the reform of the regulation in electricity industry. Through the above analysis, this paper has attempted to propose some guidance and policy advice for the reform of China's electricity price regulation.
