Study On Supply Chain Inventory Management In The Domestic Apparel Enterprises

With the globalization of marketing economy,the competitiveness in apparel industry is very fierce. Furthermore, the demand of apparel varies widely and its time effect is strong. And the whole apparel supply chain,which covers many rings from making thread to made-clothes,is a bit long and also exist more problems,so its requirement to the management of supply chain is also quite high. The fierce market competition has made it difficult to support the development of an enterprise for such a single apparel industry's management. Among them, the pressure from the inventory management to enterprise is an outstanding and serious problem. Under such situations, it is more effective for us to use skills and methods of supply chain management to solve such questions lying in the apparel supply chain. This article tries to use the theory of supply chain management reasonably to control the inventory and thus to seek practical strategies to settle the problems in our apparel industry.Based on the analysis of the process and current situation for garment enterprises,this article carry a research on its supply chain inventory control. Moreover, the author points out that the main problems was the distributions of goods,the cooperation of enterprises, the delivery of information, and so on. The thesis put forward to construct the optimized control pattern and strategies which matches the whole apparel industry. On the basis of analyzing the products data, and aiming to three different demanding styles of apparel Products, the author put forwards corresponding inventory control pattern to solve the inventory questions of apparel enterprises.The article takes the case of JH Garment Co. Ltd as an empirical study. The author analyses the problems existing in its former supply chain inventory management models. Optimize the operating organization structure of enterprises and the process of inventory operation incorporated with the actual conditions of company JH, set up cooperative mechanism of supply chain; Carry out partial adjustment to enterprise's inventory information control system, carry out concert estimation and the actual operation of inventory operation in batch of the goods by calculation example, build the whole control system on optimized supply chain inventory for company JH.Based on theoretical analysis, be combined with the positive research and qualitative analysis, set up management system on optimized supply chain stock, which is fit for the clothing enterprises. After putting the control system on operation, decrease the information blocks of supply chain among apparel enterprises effectively, reduce the operation uncertainty, avoid the high risk leaved by the once operation mode, balance all kinds of cost of the inventory, make the overall cost lowest, etc. Satisfy the demand of changing market at the same time, make the stock turnover fast and inventory little. The study prove the system has great actual value on the inventory management of apparel enterprises.
