The Research On Inter-industry Income Difference Between America And China

Economic reform not only provides effective economy system of organization for high speed economic growth in China, but also brings the change of inspire system and distribution system. As a result of it, the gap of income becomes different. As a form of income gap, inter-industry difference has already become the focus of attention of all walks of life. The gap between industries turns more and more obvious. In 2000, the multiple between the most and least industry income is 4.71 according to the number of State statistical bureau, but the multiple of 2004 becomes 7.52, increasing 2.8 compare with the number of 2000. The thesis tends to discuss the gap between industries, which makes the thesis more significant theoretically and practically. America is the most developed country in the world, the thesis tends to use it as datum of Chinese industry gap, which makes the thesis more creative.The thesis will show the situation of income gap in developed American and China during the transition period according the number of American and Chinese State statistical bureau, analyze the common and difference between two countries, and also analyze the rationality of Chinese income gap.The paper consists of 4 chapters. Chapter 1 mainly introduces the background, significance, domestic study summaries of this issue, basic ways and structure, study thoughts and the following problems of this paper. Chapter 2 descript the situation of income gap in American and China from arrangement of industry income, the gap of most and least, multiple between each industry income and average industry income, and the rate of increment of industry income four aspects according the number of American and Chinese State statistical bureau. And also summary the characteristic of two country industry income, analyze the common and difference between two countries. Chapter 3 mainly analyzes the rationality of Chinese income gap through comparing with America and relevance between industry income, monopoly degree and education degree, as we have the hypothesis that American income gap is because of marketplace effect and it is reasonable. Chapter 4 proposes suggestion of Chinese industry income reform according the result of Chapter 2 and Chapter 3.
