Development Strategy Research On The Surviving Enterprises After Restructuring And Reforming Of State-Owned Enterprise

Since the 1990s, in order to facilitate and speed up the reform and restructuring of state-owned enterprises, the restructuring of China's state-owned enterprises, especially large and medium-sized state-owned enterprises are usually linked with financing on the stock market. Some state-owned enterprises adopted separation restructuring program, span off the original core business and related assets of state-owned enterprises, then restructured and went public .And the unlisted assets and remaining business in the original enterprise constitute the surviving enterprise. However, these doings also concentrated problems faced by state-owned enterprises into the surviving enterprises, so that the existence and development of the surviving enterprises are more difficult.This article introduced the historical background of the forming of the surviving enterprises in China, combined with the common characteristics of the surviving enterprises as well as China's current macro-policy support and guidance on the restructuring development of the surviving enterprises, and specially proposed development strategies that can be adopted by the surviving enterprises on the enterprise level, analyzed the internal and external business environment of the surviving enterprises with strategic vision, focuses on the culturing and upgrading of enterprises competitiveness, applied the modern strategic management theory to the reform and development practice of the surviving enterprises, carried out an in-depth analysis to explore historical background of the forming of the surviving enterprises, current development status and existing problems, and explored the reform and development orientation of the surviving enterprises as well as how to carry out strategic option, by using the research methods of enterprises strategic management theory.In the end, the author used the case of Wuhan Jiangan Rolling Stock Works of China South Locomotive & Rolling Stock Corporation Limited, which is one of state-owned surviving enterprises, pointed out how to carry out strategic layout and development research, to provide strategic formulation and corporate framework for the surviving enterprises after restructuring, to promote smooth transition of enterprises as well as successful implementation of restructuring and separation, and to optimize and reallocate the current assets in order to achieve the stability and innovation development of the enterprise.
