Research On The Operation Management Of Expressway Service Area

The superhighway service area is attached to the superhighway and it is important in six management systems of superhighway. The superhighway service area provides service and convenience to all drivers, so it links road with people and it is the filling station for rest to supporting all vehicles continuous and safe moving. It has marked effect to attract using superhighway. And because driver depends on the superhighway service area, so this provides the good juncture for the development of the superhighway service area. It is very important to improve management and administration in the superhighway service area.First, the main characteristics of the superhighway service area are analyzed, and the related theories involving researching fields of this dissertation, such as Economics, Management, Regional Logistics and Organizational Ecology, are discussed. It is the foreshadowing for follow-up researching in theory.Secondly, after expounding the feasibility of developing logistics in the superhighway service area, two different viewpoins are discussed. One believes the superhighway service area can develop the functions of the third party logistics. The other thinks the superhighway service area should be developed as the node of the regional logistics network.At last, from the balanced score card (BSC) and ecoligical management, based on the BSC the continuous operation system of the superhighway service area and the ecoligical management of the superhighway service area are researched. The purpose is from different aspects the continuous operation system of the superhighway service area is analyzed.
