Research On The Expansion Of Chain Store

Chongqing department store CO., LTD(shorted for"CBDL") is the greatest listed business company in the west of China. Over the past 50 years, CBDL tried her best to be better and better. As a reward, she got a prominent development on the scale. However, with the expansion of outlets from domestic and foreign department chain stores, catching the market, the competition becomes more and more serious. Under the uncomfortable situation and challenge, in order to achieve the strategic target, it is necessary for CBDL to expand her chain stores and executing effective management.Based on the realistic and important meanings, this paper wants to tell us how to expand the chain stores using some theoretic knowledge and techniques, so as to make the CBDL become bigger and bigger.Firstly, this paper describes the present status of CBDL. Then it analyzed the future development of retail industry and chain store in China. As following, combining with the developing strategic plans of CBDL, this thesis explains some ideas from the author about chain store expanding.
