The raw material's price advances sharply. The cost of energy and power rises in price which leads to the production's cost rising. The manufactures of foreign mold enter into the domestic market on a large scale, and will soon face the test of the new business model. Simultaneously its "rucksack" is heavy, the equipments and staff get older, and so many factors, which is an opportunity, and also a challenge for the mold factory. Facing that new situation, through the effective market localization, the suitable quality strategy, and producing high grade products to promote the enterprise competitive power, can make the mold factory seek certain market share, survive and develop in the intense market competition.Therefore, this paper has mainly studied the following four aspects:1. Analyzing the important meaning of conducting the quality control research in the present stage, introducing the development process of domestic and foreign, analyzing the current domestic and foreign enterprise's quality management and our country's enterprise's disparity which exists in the quality control aspect and the overseas' advanced enterprise, based on the research of the quality management theories and methods.2. Discussing the concrete instruction functions of raising the quality control level to the mold factory using elementary theory, through researching overall quality control theory, orthogonal test, the principle of Statistic Process Control ( SPC ) technology, the concept of the quality-cost and the theoretical foundation of the quality-cost analysis, analysis.3. Analyzing the mold factory's quality control, studies the mold factory's the subject matter existing in the quality control aspect which is the quality system movement validity is bad, the leader and staff's quality consciousness is weak, the method falls behind solely in the system regulation quality control, has not carried on the quality cost management.4. Enhancing the mold factory quality control system's validity needs consummate the quality control's handbook and the program file, set up organization institution of branch factory which is good to the quality control, and carries out internal quality responsibility system to realize. Using internal quality control methods, SPC control technology can enhance the scientific of quality management.Indication from this paper research: If the current mold branch factory wants to establish the competitive advantage in the quality control aspect, it should firstly pay special attention to the human-oriented quality education, institute the achievements system of examining and assessment which links up the formulation and the quality , promote the quality control with the benefit; next, using advanced method such as computer is concerned with quality control in the quality control so that it can produce stable quality products, promote the enterprise's image and strength.
