Research Of Project Conflicts Solving Mechanism Based On Partnering

With the globalization of the construction project industry, nowadays conflicts in projects are getting enforced. In the 1980s, a new model of project management was first proposed and developed in USA, which was called"partnering". Thereafter, this model has been widely applied for years, it has been proved to have the ability of better control in project qualities, costs and schedules, and has reduced the number of occurrences of conflicts and disputes greatly. However, the condition in which partnering works is complex with many parties involved, so the partnering mechanism established incompletely may induce more factors that lead to conflicts. So, this thesis is aiming to establish and ameliorate construction project conflicts solving mechanism based on partnering and reach optimal conflicts solving conditions of solution for conflicts and prevent for occurrence and expanse of conflicts.Firstly, this thesis works into the conclusion that it is necessary to"envisage"when conflicts occurs with Game Analysis, and partnering is the right model which shows the spirit of"envisage". Then the thesis summarize potential factors which may lead to conflicts in partnering project, and conclude that the optimal selected model working with partnering together is D/B model.Secondly, the thesis analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of conflicts solving mechanism in present partnering model including partnering meeting mechanism, partnering agreement mechanism and conflicts bounding mechanism.Finally, based on study above, the thesis establishes and ameliorates partnering meeting mechanism, partnering prevention mechanism including parties'common goal integrity analysis mechanism and partnering agreement system, and partnering resolving mechanism including partnering conflicts identification and analysis based on conflicts analysis theory, as well as conflicts resolving procedure based on conflicts bounding mechanism. All the mechanism constitutes the target of this thesis establishing and ameliorating the conflicts solving mechanism based on partnering.
