Research On Inventory Control Strategy In Supply Chain Management

Great attention has been paid to the inventory control for a long time because ofits importance in the cost control. The methods of inventorycontrol are changing andfacing challenges with the chance in economic environment and technology. Underthe influence of the concept of supply chain management, traditional inventorycontrol theories and methods are no longer adapted to the new environment.Soit willhave great practical implication to find new methods for inventory control.First, this dissertation introduce the research actuality of inventory control andsupply SCM, summarizes traditional inventory control theories and analyzes thedisadvantage in SCM environment, recounts the theory of inventory control in SCMenvironment, analyses Vendor Managed Inventory, Jointly Managed Inventory andCollaborative Planning Forecasting & Replenishment. Secondly, study the inventoryproblem in the SCM environment, and work over the strategyof solvingthe problem:sharing information, creating the collaboration system between the companies insupply chain, business process redesign in the company. With a view to the problemof the inventory problem in the SCM environment, based on the two poles supplychain system including a Vendor and a dealer, design a model to optimize theinventory in SCM environment through the inventory risk between the provider andthe dealer, analyzed the changing of inventory cost and supply chain profit in theimplement of the model,and the nwe can see that a increase in the supply chain profitthrough a positive example.Finally,through the case of the MQL company improving inventory managementin SCM environment, point out the problem of its inventory management, and usingthe strategy of the paper,crating a ameliorative scheme.
