Urban land quality evaluation is the basis of rational management and use the urban land resources. Finding more advanced and rational land quality evaluation method is imperative. Using digital land price model to carve up the degree of the urban land quality, and probing into the spatial distribution rules complements and improves the land quality evaluation theoretics. It fills the shortage of the existing land grading method, conduces to rationally allocate land resources, and improves the efficiency of land management.Taking Qianxi county as a case, this paper uses Geostatistical method and GIS analysis to explore spatial distribution character of the land price transaction sample points. It uses Inverse distance weighted, Kriging, Spline function and Trend surface to interpolate the sample data respectively, build DLPM,contrast advantages and disadvantages of the model. This paper analyses characters of the DLPM, explores spatial trend rules of different kinds of land quality. It makes reasonable technology project to carve up the grading spatially in the basis of the DLPM, evaluates land quality discrepancy, digs the land value potential.Study results shows that the best interpolation method for building Qianxi county commercial DLPM is Universal Kriging model, and the residential DLPM is Ordinary Kriging model. Model character analysis shows all kinds of land prices revealled by land price profile chart accord with normal distribution basically, but with the different directions of profile, distribution rule has a large distinction. Using DLPM to carve up land quality further, it shows land grades appear circle structure, and different kinds of land grade circles gradually lower outward by each proper trend. Using surface analysis to evaluate land quality spatial differences, it reveals fluctuation intensities of all kinds of land price are different when the land grades change, and land quality of different areas has its own features, contains unequal potential. Original evaluation method and in-depth analysis results has definite reference significance for land quality evaluation work of our country.
