Since the 1970's, with progress of technology, expansion of production, increase of income, and change of consumption level, the main developed countries have shifted their economic focus to service industry, the output value 0f service industry has increased unceasingly in GDP proportion, thus becoming the prominent"light spot"of the world economic development. Service industry rises rapidly, causing the whole world industrial structure to vary from industrial economy to service economy. Meantime, FDI attaches more importance to service industry domain instead of manufacturing sectors of raw material, other primary products as well as that based on resources. At present, service industry FDI has occupied a half more than that in the world FDI total storage quantity and the total flow, and surpassed the manufacturing industry FDI in terms of scale and rate of rise, highlighting the vital role day by day in the international economic domain.With the rapid growth of FDI, service industry has become"the focal point"of the economic world research .the overseas scholars have carried on massive research and facts-proven analysis regarding this, but domestic research is also relative less, mainly focusing on manufacturing FDI in spite of some research on service industry, which stresses the influence on service industry caused by the foreign investment introduction. And the research on service industry FDI expanding internationally is rare.The article first briefly summarizes service industry FDI-related theories & the current research and develop it, then uses massive detailed data to elaborate the present situation and the characteristics of the world service industry FDI, based on the above, the paper utilizes FDI-related theories, and gradually comes back to the research of our country service industry FDI, systematically analyzing our country service industry FDI present situation and the current questions, and concluding that our country service industry FDI has developed and flourished in terms of the total flow and the total storage quantity, promoting the study of our country service industry FDI. Based on the research done by others, the article further analyzes what has most affected our country service industry FDI, attempting to seek the unique rule of our country service industry FDI, thus forming a basic analyzing-mode aiming at the research of our country service industry FDI. Meanwhile the policy helps expand our country's service trade industry and serves as a golden opportunity for relieving our high foreign exchange reserve & capital-relative-surplus.
