The Research On Schedule Risk Management Theory And Its Application In Highway Construction Project

Highway projects are always carried on in complicated natural and social environments; this kind of projects embody some characters such as long period, huge investment, high demanding for technology and technique, complicated inner structure and wide external connections. Many major risks tend to merge and influence the projects due to uncertainties, which are always linked with highway projects. All the risks may incur huge economy losses to clients and contractors if they aren't treated well or removed efficiently; therefore, the risk is the key point which will determine the successful of the projects. To remove and decrease economy losses to some relatives, this dissertation took the theory and application of risk management in the highway projects schedule as research objectives.The key contents are listed as follow:(1)Based on the analyses of the theories and methodologies of risk management involved in the present projects, the dissertation probed into the situations and problems embedded in the risk management of highway projects systematically and then suggested the significance to the implementation of schedule risk management.(2)Based on the definition of schedule risks and classification of risks sources in highway projects, the dissertation analyzed the outcome of the schedule risks and built the basic frame of the project schedule risk management. The frame includes the identification of the objectives and risks, analysis of risks, evaluation of risks and the treatment of risks.(3)The dissertation determined to take the theory and application of risk management in the highway projects schedule as research objectives, analyzed the risk factors in the highway projects rigorously, and definite influences the uncertainties placed on the schedule through these identifications. Reordered the schedule risk factors with the Fuzzy Synthetically Evaluation Modal, found out the key uncertainty risk factors and calculated the overall numerical value of schedule risk and then established corresponding prevention measures system.(4)According the theory of schedule risk management, the dissertation identified the risk factors in the schedule of Huai-Qian highway rebuilding project and evaluated them, then reordered the significance degrees resulted from the schedule risk factors and analyzed the level of the overall schedule, demonstrated the significance of prevention measures and corrective actions and ensured the successful of the Huai-Qian highway rebuilding project.
