The assay studies a village's course of entrepreneurship since the reform and opening-up. The entrepreneurship can be divided into three phrases. The first began from the early 1980s with a style of collective co-operation. The second began from the early 1980s dominated by the elites of village. The third appeared at the beginning of the 21th century mainly in the form of small private business. The assay attempts to seek the cause of each tide, depict its features, and reveal the evolution between them. In order to achieve this, the assay set three factors, which influence entrepreneurship. They are incentives from market and policy; entrepreneurs' quality containing identity, social status, and ambitions etc; information acquisition ability and ways. The assay takes the entrepreneurship course as one aspect of village transformation and attempts to seek the relationship between entrepreneurship and village transformation on institutions and notions.
