This paper introduces the concept of GAP, and the basic principles of the tea industry in the development process. Tea GAP, that is, "GB / T 20014.12 Good Agricultural Practices No. 12: Tea with the control point and norms",which is based on the maintenance of ecological balance and rational use of resources.It plays an important role in controlling the quality of tea food safety requirements, environmental protection, As well as the continued improvement of the environment and staff welfare measures requirements . the various control points should be made in line with the norms of its tea production. and the content is in line with GLOBAL GAP and HACCP and food security requirements .Promoting the introduction of GAP system in China is imperative ,which is of great significance in the development of tea industry. This system will regulate the production of producers, promoting the industrialization of tea production ,and achieving tea product traceability to ensure product safety. At the same time,it is also significant in achieving sustainable development of tea, having a major impact on China's tea exports.Tea implementation of the GAP is to strengthen the principle that prevention is prior to correction. the operational procedures of controlling points have traceability to establish traceability system of tea products and ensure the quality and safety of the tea end product. the tea farmers should be strengthened technical guidance and training to enhance food security in basic research. To promote China's tea market in a healthy and orderly development, we should pay attention to practical results.
