Over a period of time china's automotive industry have a certain degree, but compared to the automobile industry in developed countries, a large gap still exists. The author believes that a prerequisite for accession to the WTO, if the comparative advantage to rely solely on the traditional model of development strategies and to organize the trade of China's automobile industry development, industrial structure, it may face "comparative advantage trap", leading to a static allocation of resources and thus affect the entire industry upgrade the structure.How to take comparative advantage theory as a guide upgrade industrial structure to promote the car and the state to increase competitive advantage. The purpose of this paper from this perspective, for our own economic car that the development of new ideas, that is, to solve the following three questions:(1) to develop the economy cars is based on what? How much the theory of comparative advantage in the large extent to guide future development of China's trade and industrial structure upgrade?(2) On the new economic conditions, China's comparative advantage in the use of the original at the same time, how to keep the accumulation of new comparative advantages?(3) Based on existing conditions, China should take what kind of development model to optimize the allocation of resources to achieve the goals?First of all, this article attempts to use dynamic comparative advantage in international trade theory, in order to foster competition in the automobile industry the elements upgrade the industrial structure and upgrade the car a little personal views. Paper reviews the traditional theory of comparative advantage of the formation process.
