The Study On Guangdong Province Income Gap Between Differient Regions

Along with the China's rapid economic growth, regional income gap issue has become more prominent, and to solve this problem, scholars drawn a variety of the conclusions from different angles of their research.With differient reviewing sighs and standards of reginal divided ,for this problem, Scholars come to varivous cognitions and various opinions towards reginal income gap. But overall, everyone's analysis is mainly based on two standards of regional divided :First, the province is regarded as a sample unit, it devided whole china into three parts:east; westand the middle of china, not yet rural and urban areas, and the researches are mainly focus on the income gap among regions and the income gap between their internal. The second,according to China's urban-rural dual economic structure, China is divided into two parts: urban and rural areas. And researches are mainly focus on the gap between urban and rural areas, and gap between cities and towns within the region.On the reference of other research results and methods and this article taking a province as a reseach objective to disscuss change features of the reginal resident income. First of all,this paper disscuss change festures of he reginal income against the background of Guangdong province unbalance regional economic developent. Through using the per capita GDP, the Gini coefficient, standard deviation, Theil index and other indicators to analysis the regional income data of Gongdong province in rent years, it concluded, along with the unbalance economic development of Guangdong, the income of residents is not balanced at the same time, residents in Chu Triangle region has higer income than residents in other three regions and the trend is that income gap among Chu Triangle region and other regions is widening.Afer that,this paper establish a empirical model to find the correlation between the residents income gap and economic growth in Guangdong province.the empirical results show that: Although the gap between the income of residents in diffirent regions is widening, but it still plays a psitive role to Guangdong economic growth on the whole.when the gap reached a certain critical point, it will make a negative inpact on consumer demand, and for the more the whole economic growth. So we have to take preventive measures. The final text of the article made policy proposals and recommendations against the problem disscussed above.
