In the economic globalization, informational, knowledgeable and marketable ages, as the mainstay of economic activities, the shape of enterprises are constantly keeping changed. The SME is also the important component of the national economy, and a very special status with the economic strength in the socio-economic development. Numerous SME has a'can not be substituted'function on enlarging employment, promoting technical innovation, adjusting the economic structure and creating national wealth. However, due to the deficiencies of real self-strength, stability and the anti-risk ability, the death rate of the SME is very high. So they often can not escape the fate of being eliminated in the fierce competition of the market. While we often see in reality, along with economic development, and compared with large enterprises, the SME can show it more competitive. This conflict forces us to find the motives for SME growth.The paper is based on the research of the continued growth of the SME on the perspective of the spirit of entrepreneurs, it starts from the entrepreneurship elements, in-depth analyzes the entrepreneurship, Constructs the three-dimensional model of the entrepreneurship, in conjunction with the life cycle theory and core competitiveness theory, expounds the importance of the entrepreneurial spirit for SME growth, raises that the entrepreneurship is the only true Source to the core competitiveness of enterprises.At the same time, due to the SME has different development stages, each stage has its own unique, in various stages of development also will be faced with different challenges, which needs to address different problems and require different the entrepreneurial spirit to match it. So, based on the characteristics of different periods, the entrepreneurs need to match different entrepreneurship, infiltrate different strategies, construct the competitive advantages in different periods, and form the core competitiveness of enterprises combining the resources and capacity of the enterprise, so that the enterprises can maintain the long-term vitality and continue to develop.On the basis of theory research, this paper is mainly to verify it through a questionnaire survey for SME and analysis of specific cases, and to build the development phase model of the entrepreneurship.
