A Study On Intellectual Capital Of Modern Enterprises

In the era of knowledge economy,knowledge is becoming more and more important.The appearance of Intellectual Capital concept is outcome of knowledge becoming important in enterprise,direct product of knowledge economy,result of people deeply understanding knowledge and knowledge activity.The importance of intellectual capital at the core of knowledge has been referred to the unprecedented levels in business competitive development,by which research about intellectual capital of enterprise management in the whole process is highlighted from the whole enterprise management process.Intellectual capital research has become important aspects of accessing to competitive advantage.Intellectual capital is not only the important source for enterprise to create value and gain sustainable competitive advantage,but also the key factor for enterprise to innovate and increase profit in the future.Emphasising the role of intellectual capital in competitive advantage and strengthening the development and management of intellectual capital have become the consensus of scholars and entrepreneurs.The rise of the "new economy",one principally driven by knowledge,is attributed to the increased prominence of intellectual capital as a business and research topic.Intellectual capital is implicated in recent economic,managerial, technological and sociological developments in a manner previously unknown and largely unforeseen,there is much to support the assertion that intellectual capital is instrumental in the determination of enterprise value and national economic performance.Chinese enterprises have been posed with a realistic problem of managing and employing intellectual capital effectively.These provides practical evidences of theory for enterprises of our country exploiting and managing intellectual capital and developing fully the use of intellectual capital for growing up of economy and increasing in value of enterprises.The thesis analyzes the status quo of the research on enterprise IC in western country and in China,and reveiws the basic theories related to IC theory.On the basis of the research above,the thesis' research contents are as following:(1) On the basis of many scholars' the definition about intellectual capital, associating with The status quo of China's enterprises,I propose a more scientific definition;analyze the status and the prospect of the research on IC,Note on great significance of the research on intellectual capital. (2) Respective expound the meaning and specific characteristics of the three parts of IC,and diacritic analyze the related concept;detailed analyze the interrelation of the content of intellectual capital,but also one of the key papers.(3) The thesis proposes developing IC from two aspects:IC stock and IC increment,and give concrete steps and measures.(4) The thesis probing constructs operating mechanism of IC in the modern enterprise from reality.(5)From the view of institutional economics,the thesis analyzes property right motivation and mechanism arrangement,in order to enhance protective awareness about property right of IC;Give personal opinion on how to extract value from intellectual property.The creations in this thesis is to enhance the development of enterprise intellectual capital to a certain height,and point out the importance of developing intellectual capital;The thesis constructs operating mechanism of IC in the modern enterprise,and researches on the ways and the method of IC management from the perspective of new institutional economics.
