Energy, as a fundamental element of a country's economic development, is the crucial strategic reserve supplies of a national economy. In recent years, energy shortage has already become the bottleneck of our country's economic development. Energy has become one of the important elements which restrict the sustainable growth of international trade. The imports and exports holds the function of adjusting the surplus and deficiency of a country's energy. Our country, as being called "the World's Manufactory", not only manufactures and produces a great number of export goods, but also at the same time consumes a large amount of energy. Our country is short of energy and some other resources. Therefore, as to ensuring our country's energy safety, raising the efficiency of energy utilization, and facilitating our country's fast and stable economic development, it is very significant to realize and master the condition of our country's energy consumption caused by export, analyze the impact of energy price on the cost of our country's export, and study the effect of energy constraint on the scale and structure of export. This dissertation follows the frame of "Literature Review-Theoretic Explanation-Actuality Analysis-Demonstration Analysis-Suggestions".Firstly, this dissertation defines some basic concepts clearly, and then further summarizes and comments on the research condition of both home and abroad with focusing on the two directions: one is the relationship between resource constraint and economic development, the other is the relationship between energy and export.Secondly , this dissertation analyzes the impact of energy on export from both the macro-and micro-aspects according to the traditional and new theories of stable economy, factor endowment, and etc. Moreover, it analyzes the impact of the shortage of resources factors on export by introducing energy as an important input factor into the Solow's Model.Thirdly, by using input-output analysis method, this dissertation calculates the unit output energy consumption in main production departments, and further calculates the energy consumption of 20 main in manufacturing product departments' export with the comparison to the energy consumption of import. What's more, it calculates many kinds of export products' energy consumption according to the SITC standard. Finally, on the base of classified analysis of the representation of energy constraint, this dissertation analyzes the price conducting mechanism of energy constraint, defines the measurable index of energy constraint power, and analyzes consequential relationship between energy price and the price of exports. It sets up a dynamic measurement model of energy consumption constraint and the framework of export scale. On the base of demonstration analysis, it further states the impact of energy constraint on the cost, scale, and framework of export.Basing on the literature study, theoretic analysis, and demonstration research, this dissertation puts forward some strategies regarding the change of export trade mode and framework in the conclusion part.
