This topic started with the analysis of mutual relationship of regional logistics and regional economy, according to the theories of city logistics and regional logistics. To the analysis of the elements which modern logistics effects the harmonious economic development in the urban agglomeration, I surveyed the dedicative models of modern logistics toward the urban agglomeration economic increase and make sure what effect regional logistics would take toward regional economic development. Then I analyzed the macro-economic environment of regional logistics and industry circumstance in Wuhan urban agglomeration in detail. And the advantage, weakness, opportunity and threat of development of regional logistics in Wuhan urban agglomeration were considered one by one along with tools of SWOT strategy analysis. Then some feasibility results on developing modern regional logistics in Wuhan urban agglomeration would draw from these series of analysis. After that, an analysis would take place about the reality of policy support for regional logistics development both in home and abroad. On this great platform, I would provide some suggestions about developing regional logistics harmoniously in Wuhan urban agglomeration, according to the reality of logistics industry development of this agglomeration. The proposal would take in three aspects. They are government functions, policy support system and indemnificatory measure of government.
