A Study On Supply Chain Management Of Zhongbang Books Issue Ltd.

As a special business, the books issue of our country have a deep feature of planning economy because of its property of ideology. In recent years, along with the reform and development of our books issue and the industrialization of our culture, the books issue has token some new progress on some aspects, such as development concept, management standpoint, business model and etc. Simultaneously, being an emerging management concept and model, SCM (Supply Chain Management) has been paid much attention all over the world and is very important for books issue to rebuild its business model. Applying SCM theory, this paper analyzes the situation of Zhongbang Books Issue Ltd., and discusses the importance for Zhongbang to manage with SCM in the market competence, and puts forward the corresponding solution for its various management aspects, such as building strategy partners, optimizing business process, utilizing information technology and assessing performance etc.This paper firstly introduces the basic concept and background of SCM and compares SCM features of China with that of foreign countries. As the main parts, the third and the fifth chapters emphatically study the problems of SCM, which exist in the whole books issue of our country commonly and in the Zhongbang Ltd. concretely. Subsequently, these chapters give forward some efficient optimization policies from three dimensions of integrating SCM, prompting SCM, and improving SCM respectively, and suggest the Zhongbang to ameliorate its supplier management, customer management, and information management so as to enhance its operation efficiency and profit effectively. Finally, this paper references many application models and evaluation system to assess the improved SCM performance of Zhongbang, and realizes the expected target of its whole SCM under the different given constraint conditions.
