The third-party logistics comes of the Occident countries in the 80s of 20th century, as a specialized logistical organization mode, after 20 years of development, it has come into being an industry with a large scale and has played an important role in the marketplace. After China's reform and opening up, fields that constitute the logistics system has gotten remarkable development and the third-party logistics has being advanced from the backland to the southeast seaboard. However, compared with the development of international third-party logistics, Chinese third-party logistics still has a long way to go not only in academic research, but also in practical exploration. Due to a large number of problems, it's hard to form an efficient third-party profit source.Based on a study to the theory of the third-party logistics, this paper will discuss the current situation of Chinese third-party logistics from the aspect of industrial economics; conduct an analysis to the marketing structure, marketing behavior and marketing performance of Chinese third-party logistics using SCP; and then expose the problems of Chinese third-party logistics. The problems include: small scale of market, low marketing concentration, low entry barrier in the low-end logistics market allowing large amount of capital enter into this market in a short term. This leads to fierce competition in which the price war is used mostly as well as a low average profit margin. Therefore, the improvement of Chinese logistic market performance is in great need. This situation not only restricts the development of logistic companies, but also embarrasses the effective demand in logistic market. Furthermore, this paper will conduct an analysis to the development of third-party logistics in the city of Ri Zhao, and indicate the problems existing in the development of the third-party logistics, and finally, on the basis of the problems and factors restricting the third-party logistics, as well as the true situation of Ri Zhao, present the countermeasures to promote the development of third-party logistics from both the macroscopical and microcosmic aspects.Demonstration researches in western countries indicate, the logistic industry can finally build up only when the independent third-party logistics occupies 50 percent of the society and the development level of a country's third-party logistics indicates the holistic level of a country's logistic industry. Research into the problems existed in the development of Chinese third-party logistic industry has a profound meaning to the promotion of Chinese logistic industry. We have to follow the trend of logistic industry, combine China's actuality and make good use of the rise of e-business and reform of information technology to development Chinese logistic industry and enhance Chinese economic power.
