With the development of economy and the expansion of scales, companies have gone out of single-point operation mode and realized network operation. At this time, a strong logistics system is needed with the ultimate goal of satisfying the terminal consumers and realizing the value of the whole supply chain. Logistics network plays an important role in logistics operation performance and company management. Under the precondition of ensuring service level, the planning of logistics network should start from seeking the lowest total logistics cost and organize the overall logistics network from the point of integrating logistics system.Among the main tasks of logistics network planning, distribution network structure and network facility locations are the most important. This is because, it is only after determining the distribution network structure and network facility locations that companies can optimize distribution lines and choose transportation means according to the surrounding environment and their logistics capabilities. The way of logistics network planning is, to find out mutual constraints and connections according to the mutual relations among logistics facilities, stocks, transportation and service levels, and then get the best solutions using mathematics means. With the background of LX Corporation which urgently needs to advance its logistics capability to meet the growing market demand in its nationwide marketing process, this article analyzed the future market demand of LX Corporation, researched into the layout planning of LX Corporation's RDCs, so as to lower the company's logistics cost, improve the service capability of its logistics network, and ultimately improve the company's overall competitiveness. This article aims to provide choices and reference for IT companies' RDC layout planning via scientific analysis and an outlook of IT companies' RDC layout planning and design.
