Risk Management Of IT Project And Case Analysis

Project risk management, the significant content of software project management, is the key element of a successful project. Now-days, the discipline of IT project risk management is still at its initial stage academically and practically. Therefore, researching for the appropriate risk management method is significant meaning for the IT project in China.The main contents of this essay are as follow:Firstly, the character and meaning of IT project management and risk management are explained. Then character and limits of typical risk management system and model analyzed. On the basis of analyses, I put forward the questions to be solved theoretically and practically. Thirdly, from the point view of system, I constructed an application-oriented project risk management model which is based on mechanism of feed-back. Fourthly, the mechanism of risk management is established to realize the application of risk management. The support of management niche to risk management was discussed accordingly by human resource and organization chart of project.Based on the above-mentioned research; we find a standard, effective method for software project risk management in the process of initialization, development and execution.At last, with the help of a case, I proved the effectiveness of my conclusion that the risk management of IT project should be treated systematically----study the risk management under the name of the whole project, make risk management do its work in the whole process.
