The conversion cost management is very important for semiconductor assembly&test site due to severe competition in semiconductor industry. The better cost control would be challenge for leader today.This thesis is written by studying and reviewing on Semiconductor production line from Freescale (China)Ltd. Analyzing capacity, then we can find out process which is the bottleneck, analyze actual manufacture flow management mode and equipment utilization, make use of Overall Equipment Effectiveness(OEE) methodology to design a new OEE model and calculate the improved OEE. We improve production scene with IE tool, build rational equipment maintenance system by Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Reduce equipment failure. By the use of simplify operator process flow to reduce downtime loss which is made by change lot. Building precise statistic model to calculate cycle time of the part of increased capacity which is aroused by reducing unit material entering time and system test time.Finally, we can finish OEE improved forecast, balance production line, reduce production burthen, and deliver output to consumers just in time.
