Practice And Innovation Of General Contract Management In Large-scale Construction Projects

The proposal of construction engineering project management is to achieve the goals of the project contract, the economic and social benefits of construction project by optimizing disposition and dynamic management of the production elements according to the business development strategy , internal and external conditions and running law of the modern construction enterprises.In this paper, the innovation measures of general contract management are put forward based on the analysis about current situation of general contract management in china.In this paper, some experience and understanding are proposed based on the summary of the construction of a number of large-scale construction projects, including that how to adapt to the market ,how to develop the general construction management of the construction , and how to do well with coordination, the schedule, quality and cost control, security management, new materials, new technology applications among the owners, supervision, design and the total package with subcontractors, sub-subcontractors for the large-scale projects.In this paper, some theories, methods, workflow and measures of construction project management are summed up on the basis of the manager's role in general contract management such as the project bidding and contract management, programming management, quality management, finance and cost management, safety and environmental management and so on.Finally, the innovations and practices of general contract management are summed up which can provide valuable experience for the future large-scale construction projects management.
