With the further promotion of Chinese financial reform, the end of five years financial protection period after China joined in the World Trade Organization, the further influence on banking by information technology and the diversification of customer demand, Chinese commercial banks are facing unprecedented fierce competition. How to elevate the competitiveness of international business and balance the developing status of RMB and international business in order to promote sustained profound growth, is the critical subject faced by China Construction Bank Xiamen Branch. The article analyses and studies the competitiveness of CCB Xiamen international business and then puts forward a series of measures to speed up the development of international business.The article contains five chapters. Chapter 3 evaluates the international business competitiveness of CCB Xiamen that it ranks second in scale field for it has a large distance behind BOC Xiamen, but it is the first in dynamic comparison for its growth is a bit faster than ABOC Xiamen. The article also studies the advantages and disadvantages influencing the international business competitiveness of CCB Xiamen. Chapter 4 analyses the external environment and raises the train of thought that under the strategic guide of developing international business with priority and high quality, CCB Xiamen should provide quicker and better service by reengineering business procedure and innovating product.
