LG Micron (Fujian) Electronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as LG Micron Co., Ltd.) was founded in 2002. It commenced preparing for the performance evaluation process in 2004, developed a Performance Evaluation System contained the selection, implementation and application for the evaluation indicators which was implemented in 2005. However, due to lack of experience in the design link, the Performance Evaluation System fell into formalism that it was purely for the purpose of evaluation and bonuses. Then, it was terminated in the year of 2006.In this context, the author tries to identify problems by study the reason for the failure and find solutions through the use of modern enterprise management theory, eventually reach the proper use of performance evaluation which is one of human resources tools.Correctly use of Performance Evaluation System will lead enterprises continuously improve performance, achieve goals and train staff gradually so that promote the collaborative development of enterprises and staffs.This thesis is to understand the development of enterprise, current operating conditions, organizational structure and Human Resource Development with LG culture as a platform on the basis of LG Micron's background, find out some problems existed in the original Performance Evaluation System through studying the effectiveness of Performance Evaluation for Human Resource Development, and find solutions and countermeasures after analyzing the causes of those problems. On this basis, to establish the purpose and principle of Performance Evaluation System for LG Micron, to explore the performance evaluation method which is not only achieve the objectives set, but also meet the established principles, to set individual KPI for each member of every department according to the company's strategic objectives and bring forward process control for the company's strategic objectives, departmental goals and individual goal of each staff. After obtain the achievement of performance evaluation, clarify the results' application to the recruitment and dismissal, salaries, personnel appointments and staff training in more detail and receive incentive effects. The paper finally summed up the advantages of this system and the direction for improvement.Four chapters are contained in the thesis.In first chapter, the author introduces the development and the culture of LG Micron Co., Ltd. In second chapter, the author introduces the current situation and problems of the performanceevaluation system in LG Micron Co., Ltd.In third chapter, the author presents the establishment of the performance evaluation system in LGMicron Co., Ltd. in the 5 sections. SectionⅠis discussing the purpose and principles of theestablishment of performance evaluation system; SectionⅡis about the determined evaluationmethods; SectionⅢis about the determined evaluation indicators; SectionⅣis refer to theimplementation of performance evaluation system. SectionⅥis talking over performanceevaluation.The last chapter is the conclusion of performance evaluation system.This article is a practical article, the author attempts to apply the knowledge of performanceevaluation to some actual enterprises which possess certain business background.
