The study of price competition has been an important element in the Economics, in the competitive market many enterprises need to pay attention to the price strategy. How the enterprises in the market build their price competition strategy can not solely rely on the experience of corporate decision makers, it also need more theory guidance.The article proceeds with the study of price strategy based on the research of Nordson Corporation. From the perspective of the game theory, firstly introduce the traditional theory of price competition, and explain the essence of the price competition through the game theory; with the analysis of duopoly market structures get a result that oligopoly market enterprises exist the needs of the price competition strategy design. And on the basis of the analysis of the output competition and price competition by using the mathematical models in the duopoly market, use the game theory to design the leader enterprise's price competition strategy. Specifically, this article mainly carries on the analysis and research of the price competition strategy from the following aspects:Firstly, from the current situation research of electrostatic powder spray equipment market, pointing out that the price competition in a market economy exist inevitability, each enterprise may face the problem of the price competition strategy.Secondly, introduce the basic game theory of the price competition, and further analyzes the output and price mechanism in duopoly market structures, point out that the game thinking can be used to design the price competition strategy in the oligopolistic market.Then design the price strategy of Nordson Corporation on the basis of duopoly market Sweezy model, use duopoly market gambling model to analyze the price competition, and design the leader enterprise's price competitive strategy under single market structure.At last, on the basis of the above study, this article attempts to analyze how the leader enterprise designs the price competition strategy and adopt the price tactics when they compete with the follower enterprise under pluralistic market structure.
