Along with the pace of reform and opening in China, the communication industry has made brilliant achievements which attract worldwide attention. However, in 2008, according to the developmental needs of the whole communication industry, China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom have carried out major restructuring and changes one after another. China mobile annexed China Railcom, China Unicom merged with China Netcom, and China Telecom bought the CDMA network of China Unicom. Confronting enormous changes in communication companies, as members of company, employees may have different attitudes and cognitive levels to changes. At the same time, their job satisfaction may also be changed correspondingly. Therefore, the impact relation between organizational change recognition and job satisfaction is worth paying close attention by enterprise managers and researchers in such a changeable time.Based on this, the main purpose of this study, which subjects are employees of China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom companies, accessing relevant datas by convenient sampling survey, is to get the current situation of the knowledge owned by employees of telecommunicative compames in Xi'an about cognitive levels of organizational change and their job satisfaction, to analyze the differences of varied demographic characteristics variables with regard to the above two items, and to further discuss how employees' organizational change recognition affect on their job satisfaction.With the use of EXCEL and SPSS15.0, this study does a lot of empirical research and analysis for 169 effective samples datum, by using statistical methods such as reliability test, validity test, descriptive statistics, independent samples T test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis, regression analysis and other research methods. The research results show that the organizational change recognition and job satisfaction of employees in Xi'an communication industry are at middle level, there are significant differences in organizational change recognition and job satisfaction among employees with different personal characteristics and in different communicative companies, employees' organizational change recognition significantly affect on their job satisfaction, and the cognition of organizational change benefits, the cognition of organizational change environment and the cognition of employees' benefits can be used as the measure of target prediction for job satisfaction.At the basis of research results, this study makes a number of recommendations specifically for business managers and employees, which will help them improving their cognitive levels of organizational change. Meanwhile, the study also puts forward some suggestions for follow-up studies in future according to the study shortage.
