The financial crisis triggered by the"sub-prime mortgage"swept the whole world last year with its irresistible trend, and soon became a crucial issue for every country; no one could immune from it. Major bilateral and multilateral interaction happened frequently, profound changes took place all over the world. As the world's two major economic groups, China and Japan, are the first to be affected. Every financial crisis will bring forward certain kind of adjustment among large nations'relationship. Mutual political trust is the premise of common prosperity, meanwhile, economic and trade cooperation guarantees mutual political trust. This financial crisis is both an opportunity and challenge for the restless Sino-Japan relationship. Facing this common difficulty, China and Japan should lay off differences and cooperate with each other, confront the financial crisis together and in the meantime, promote political harmony. Experience has proved that cooperation among the large nations is the key point for regional economic cooperation, and also for the resolution of the financial crisis. The cooperation between China and Japan has a great impact on the East Asian, and even the world's situation. On this special occasion of financial crisis, how to seize this opportunity of reshuffling to enhance economic and political relationship, meanwhile, maintain diplomatic safety and promote China's economic development, is an important topic that deserves careful study. This paper is divided into four parts. In the first part ,I elaborated the significance of this topic. Because of the austere situation and the importance of Sino-Japanese relationship, both countries security and the diplomatic environment promote the important topic which China's economic development is worth studying. In the second part,I elaborated the Sino-Japanese cooperation deals with the international finance crisisEvery financial crisis will bring forward new adjustment to the relationship among large nations; steady development of the regional economy will create a sound external environment for political stabilization. Understanding and grasping the Sino-Japan relationship from a strategic aspect according to the current situation is very important for China's rise and the enhancement of its international status. Besides, this paper will introduce the economic and political interaction between China and Japan from last year till now.In the third part,I elaborated the factors influencing the Sino-Japan relationship during the period of current financial crisisThis chapter first introduces the financial crisis's impact on the Sino-Japan relationship under this new circumstance; it introduces the economic condition of China and Japan respectively, and then demonstrates the impact on the Sino-Japan relationship, combined with the statistics. Bringing forward the opinion of"politics will be cold, and economy will not be so warm either", and proving it with the economic data from the politically cold"Koizumi Period". Which are the cores content of this part. And then introduces how to deal with the sensitive issues during this particular time of the financial crisis, Prime Minister Aso's China policy, the political trend after election, and Obama's Sino-Japan policy, and its impact on the Sino-Japan relationship. In the forth part,I elaborated the prospect of Sino-Japanese future relationship under the circumstance of the financial crisisBringing forward several predictable viewpoints. The financial crisis will push forward the progress of East Asian integration, China's international status will rise and Japan's status will fall relatively, but because of the economic interdependence, Sino-Japan relationship won't experience great setback in the near future. The financial crisis is also a turning point for the Sino-Japan relationship; China should seize the opportunity of reshuffling,"boost politics with economy", temporarily set aside the difference of the sensitive issues, and try to achieve win-win situation by seeking common interest with Japan. However because of the sensitive issues, like history, territory and food, Sino-Japan relationship will encounter setback during the process. China should conquer political argument and conflict, try to achieve win-win situation by seeking common interest. Learn from the history between China and France, in which the conflict extended from politics to economy, set aside the controversial issues, China and Japan should get together to become the leaders of Asia. Conclusion,This part concludes the result of the study. Because of the painful experience of"the lost ten years", Japan has great fear of financial crisis, and now its election result is unclear, its internal affairs is unrest, its diplomatic demand is relatively weak. So China should seize the opportunity of reshuffling, and actively promote the economic and trade cooperation, hence boost politics with economy. In the era of globalization, economy becomes an important factor for Sino-Japan integration. In the Koizumi period, when it is politically cold, although there has been a saying that"politically cold and economically warm", yet according the author's data collection and study, Sino-Japan's economic relationship had also been effected to some extent. Both China and Japan should learn from the history, especially during this harsh time, we should stabilize diplomatic relationship, enhance Sino-Japan trade stabilization. Economic cooperation will not only offset the political pressure, but will also have long-term impact on Sino-Japan friendship.
