Research On The Water Logistics Planning Of Jiangxi Province

With the continuous development of global economic integration and rapid evolution of information technology,logistics industry has a prompt development.At the same time,the logistics industry is developing from the traditional stage of transport,warehousing management and other services to the stage of an integrated, network-based,integrated modern logistics through the logistics organization, management of institutional innovation and information technology application.The function of logistics service will develop,improve and upgrade incessantly.As a service industry,water logistics is the way by water transportation, including goods transportation,handling processing,transit and so on.And it is different from the general logistics,ports are very important nodes in the water logistics systems,most of the process is completed in the port.In addition,it has a broader scope and should connect with road,rail,air transport logistics.At present,Jiangxi Province has the goal of docking Chang Zhu Min and achieving integration into the globalization.as a member of the Pan-Pearl River Delta, Jiangxi can promote economic by the development of modern logistics industry which is the best strategic choice.Jiangxi is rich in water resources and plays the role of north-south transportation hub.In such an environment,the development of water logistics will improve logistics efficiency and accelerate the pace in line with international standards to enhance the degree of economic opening to the outside world.At first,this paper analyzes the development of Jiangxi's water transport logistics from several aspects,including the water transport logistics market, infrastructure and market,and then summarizes the main problems in water logistics. Next,it researches the development environment of water transport logistics from the aspects of economy,policy and a comprehensive traffic.Based on historical data,this paper forecasts the amount of water transportation, the province's port throughput,sub-categories of goods and cargo throughput of some major ports.The predicted result shows that the future demand will keep on increasing,so it is essential to develop the water transport logistics in Jiangxi.Finally,this paper plans the logistics nodes,waterways,channels of consolidation and distribution,information system and the security system. Meanwhile,it presents some countermeasures and suggestions in accordance with the current situation of Jiangxi Province to provide some reference for the authorities.
