The Research On Stochastic Multi-echelon Inventory Control Strategy In Supply Chain

The inventory cost is a primary component of the supply chain cost,and the method for multi-echelon inventory optimization and control must be adopted for the sake of the entire supply chain optimization and control.How to effectively control the multi-echelon inventory system is one of the key factors to improve the operational efficiency of supply chains.Therefore,it has a great meaning to study the problem of inventory cost control in the supply chain management.After summarizing the traditional inventory management methods,this paper integrates the new theory of supply chain management and studies the issue of inventory control based on cost optimization in supply chain.The main work as follow:The first part introduces the background,meaning and main context about this paper.Then it reviews home and abroad literature about inventory in recent years. The second part introduces the theoretical knowledge of inventory in supply chain, including Characteristics,limitation and Improvement Approach of inventory management in supply chain,then gives the concept,cost construction and control strategy about multi-echelon inventory.The third part discusses one of the core context——demand analysis,it mainly analyzes the Randomness of demand,including source and influence.Then it analyzes Poisson demand process including Characteristics,proof and the thought,feasibility and necessity of transformation to Normal Distribution and it gives the way and process of transformation——parameter estimation,Then it verifies unbias of parameter and adopts'test of hypothesis.The forth part gives traditional multi-echelon inventory model and multi-echelon inventory with distribution center respectively,then give the process of solving.The fifth part gives an example analysis.By comparing the solution,it shows that the profit has greatly increased and it is necessary to build distribution center.
