The Uniform Customs and Practice for Commercial Documentary Credits(hereinafter refer to as UCP) plays an important role in the practice of credits since it has been come on.Going with the change of the practical operation,the flaws of UCP 1993 Revision(hereinafter refer to as UCP500) come out gradually,as a result the 6th revision of UCP initiated by ICC is on the way since 2003 and the UCP 2007 revision(hereinafter refer to as UCP600) is adopted on Oct.10th in Paris Conference.UCP600 is another accomplishment after UCP500 and it is a historical progress.This thesis focuses on the new stipulation and new changes,trying to provide enough theory basis for the practice,which could make the import and export corporations completely mastered the UCP600 within less time,adjusted and developed its practical operation according to the latest revision,so they could stand in an advantageous position during the international trade.This thesis is divided into 5 chapters.Chapter 1 summarizes the constitution,development and historical revision of The Uniform Customs and Practice for Commercial Documentary Credits and its legal status.In chapter 2,the content of UCP600 is introduced on the whole, and the transformations as well as the critical revisions from UCP500 to UCP600 are explicitly explained.In chapter 3,issues ranging from the establishment of letter of credit to the examination of it are analyzed and suggestions are put forward.In chapter 4,the influence of the UCP600 on exporters is first introduced and accordingly,the problems and countermeasures are further discussed.In chapter 5,the suggestion about how to deal with the dispute of letter of credit to importers,exporters and court.
