Research On The Impact Of Foreign Trade On The Economic Growth Of Shanxi Province And Countermeasures

The relationship of foreign trade and economic has been studied by development economists and international economists.From Marxism classical theory to traditional international trade theory,from Roberts' theory of "foreign trade is the engine of economic growth" to the new economic growth theory represented by Romer and Lucas,they have all fully affirmed the foreign trade to a country economy development important promoter action.Because there are the enormous differences in our natural resources in the region,historical background,technical,geographical conditions and the initial level of development,and implementation of unbalanced development and tilt policy since the reform and opening up policy,all regions made difference in the level of economic development and opening up of foreign trade structure.Since the reform and opening up policy,Shanxi Province's foreign trade has maintained a rapid pace of development really.It made some contribution to the province's opening up.With the development of economic globalization and China's accession to the WTO,Foreign trade has an increasingly prominent role in stimulating economic growth and adjusting the economic structure.Many scholars also had qualitative analysis for Shanxi Province's foreign trade situation and the characteristics of its reasons,put forward the worth considering policy proposal for how foreign trade promote better to economic development in Shanxi province.Their common characteristic is all advocated vigorously develops the foreign trade,the promotion foreign trade total quantity,the expanded exportation.It is only in qualitative analysis,no quantitative analysis.They had excessive stress on the impact of foreign trade having a unilateral role in promoting economic development.This article analyzes the contribution of the foreign trade promoting Shanxi Province's economical in theory and real diagnosis analysis foundation.In view of the development and characteristics of Shanxi province's foreign trade these years,I studies the contribution of Shanxi province foreign trade to economic growth using Regression Analysis and Cointegration Analysis,and ills of Shanxi province's foreign trade.At last I'll put forward the countermeasure and proposal to the next development.
